Railway Service:

Carriage of railway wagons by ferry is performed between Świnoujście and Ystad. This service is a joint venture between Polish and Swedish Rails, and it is called the "EAST WAY LINK". Other participants of this venture include Czech, Slovak, Austrian, Hungarian, Slovenian, Croatian and Italian railway companies. M/f Polonia and m/f Jan Śniadecki provide a railway wagon carriage service on the basis of agreements between their operators and Polish Rail. Loading/unloading of wagons on/from ferries is carried out by railway forces. Transhipment of railway wagons in the terminal is performed using port transhipment ramps and a railway siding.
