Location

The Ferry Terminal is located in the port area of the town of Świnoujście along the mouth of the Świna River on the Baltic Sea. The Terminal has very good land (road and rail) and inland water transportation connections (by the Odra River and inland canals) with Szczecin, the rest of Poland and Berlin.

It is an important component of Poland's transport infrastructure. Combined with the nearby sea border crossing the Terminal forms a transport hub that is vital for transport in Central Europe, linking Scandinavia with Central and South Europe, and the Baltic countries with Western Europe.

Additionally, the Terminal serves as a port for pleasure boats and ferries that sail to German towns located in the Polish-German border area.
