General information

Sea ferries, ro-ro vessels and pleasure boats are handled using specialist port facilities and advanced cargo handling technology. The terminal has 5 berths with adjustable ramps numbered from 2 to 6:

• 2 general purpose berths for railway ferries, rail-car ferries, passenger ferries, and ro-ro vessels (5 vessels can be handled per day at each berth),
• 2 berths for passenger/car ferries (5 vessels can be handled per day at each berth),
• 1 berth for ro-ro vessels, convertible to handle lo-lo ships (up to 5 vessels per day).

The terminal's technical infrastructure ensures supply of electricity, heat, and water, as well as the collection and treatment of sewage, oil-contaminated water and rain water. The terminal is equipped with:

• transformer stations,
• gas boiler facility,
• drinking water storage reservoir with a hydrophore,
• storage reservoir for rain water,
• pumping station for technical water and fire-fighting water,
• sewage treatment plant,
• supply and disposal systems:
  • rain water disposal system,
  • sewage disposal system,
  • oil-contaminated water disposal system,
  • heat supply system,
  • emergency power supply system,
  • external lighting system,
  • telephone network,
  • fibre optical system and CCTV.
